Maku Poke Stop.
We built Maku's digital ecosystem from branding to video production, turning its two Cancún locations into one recognizable, consistent brand.
Maku Poke Stop had two locations in Cancún, Huayacán and Bonampak, each with its own way of speaking.
The opportunity was clear: help the audience see both spots as one brand while building an active, distinctive digital presence in a crowded food market. On top of that, Maku was launching online ordering, and it needed to be explained in a way that was clear and made people want to tap "order."
We started with a cross-location communication strategy that positions Maku as one brand with two addresses, not two separate businesses.
We built consistent content campaigns (photo, video and design) that carry the brand's voice and look into every post. We produced pieces to teach customers how to order online, seasonal campaigns (back to school, Miss Universe Mexico, bazaars), TV-screen menus, stickers and printed collateral, plus video series that show the full experience of building your own poke bowl.
Maku now has an active online community and a brand people recognize across Cancún.
The online ordering campaigns brought more regulars to the digital channel. Collaborations with local figures, like Mexico's Miss Universe representative, expanded the brand's organic reach. And the design system we built lets Maku's team publish fresh content on a steady rhythm without ever losing the brand's look and feel.
“Investing in my brand using BDB Agency was the best decision ever. I gave them two projects and they exceeded my expectations. Amazing customer service, great turnaround time & listened to my suggestions and changes. They worked with me to get the results I wanted.”
